"old-school death", they said.
while in many ways, that could be said about "echoes of the soul", this album musically has so much more to offer. it is melodic, has some BM elements, and the solos are breathtaking.
i was surprised & delighted & this quickly became one of my favourite albums.
the lyrics' socio-political messages & the spirituality & the depths of feeling & of being human are all things i can really, really connect to. there's a kind of empathy that is often elsewhere absent. frög
One of the only bands whose beat blasts through your headphone and still sounds melodic. What an album!
And there's more but I'll leave you to it! QuarkStorm
I'm going to see this incredible band in April and can't wait for it. This album is an absolute banger and technically very impressive. Awesome stuff. dominikgray
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
Valence, Much More was Lost... the whole album presents powerful trips into human psyche. If you care to read the lyrics, that is.
I admire their works and consistence.
They are the Dostoevsky of Metal. paulpriest
